Meet the Innovator Behind IRMAD Technologies — and the Engine Built to Change Everything

Hello, my name is Nikola Spalenka, founder of IRMAD Technologies. For the last decade, I’ve been driven by one mission: to rethink how we power our world. While today’s energy systems are either wasteful, dirty, or overly dependent on location, I’ve dedicated my work to creating something different — something that combines the best of engineering, imagination, and sustainability.

When I look back, my journey began at just five years old in a children’s museum in Las Vegas. A simple iron-powder and magnet display sparked my lifelong intrigue with magnetism. Soon after, slot car tracks pulled me into the world of electromagnetism. Those early moments planted the seeds for what would later become IRMAD Technologies and the Electron Fluid Engine.

 

Life wasn’t always easy. I grew up in the Vegas Valley, balancing sports, music, and a complicated childhood. Music became one of my first true outlets for creation and manifestation. Playing in bands taught me about loyalty, hard work, and the discipline it takes to turn what you hear in your mind into something real. I didn’t realize it then, but I was learning the foundations of inventing.

 

At 14, I began working. By 19, I had moved to Colorado, and by 20 I was immersed in the tile and stone trade. That trade shaped me profoundly. Tile work demands precision, patience, and craftsmanship. There is almost no room for error — if you want it to last, you must respect the materials and the process from the ground up. My company, Spalenka Tile and Stone, built a reputation on that principle, delivering lasting installations with a bold 25-year warranty. The work earned us 4.8 stars over eight years and taught me what it truly means to stand behind quality.

 

That same mindset became the foundation of IRMAD Technologies. Around 21, while still laying tile and working odd jobs, I started experimenting with an idea that had been with me since childhood: to build a universal electromagnetic engine platform. What began in a closet grew into basement experiments, then evolving prototypes, and finally the Electron Fluid Engine — a system built through 10+ years of persistence, iteration, and vision.

 

The EFE is more than a generator. It is a modular, rotary-magnetic platform designed to rethink energy itself — minimizing losses, maximizing output, and opening pathways for education, off-grid use, and future technologies. Like many great inventions — the Wright brothers’ airplane, Cochrane’s dishwasher, Carver’s agricultural science — it wasn’t born in a corporate lab, but from determination, passion, and belief that a better way was possible.

 

In July 2015, I wrote IRMAD’s mission statement. In July 2025, we filed our provisional patent. Today, IRMAD Technologies is moving forward with the same no-compromise spirit: to build things that last, serve a purpose, and solve real problems.
